As mentioned in our previous post, the cost of a watch can vary from a few pounds to millions of pounds.  However, one thing that is consistent along the whole spectrum of prices, there are still ugly, hideous and unsightly watches.  Of course, one persons ugly time piece is another person’s pride and joy….however take a look at these calamitous designs and I am sure you will agree that these have been hit pretty hard with the ugly stick!

1. Icelink - This dog’s breakfast of a watch costs a staggering $14,900.  As you can see the 6 faces of the chronograph coupled with the bulky frame makes this a truly horrendous waste of effort and money.  Ugly Rating 9/10

2. Eleeno - These are futuristic watches from Japan.  As you can see this woeful attempt at watch design means that you cannot get the most vital of information - what the time is.  Luckily they are not as ridiculously priced as some other ugly watches. Ugly Rating 8/10

3. Shinshoku Watch -You might have gathered from the name that this watch is a shambolic, shameless attempt at a time piece.  It looks like something that has come out of a very cheap set of Christmas crackers. Ugly Rating 10/10

4. Cabestan by Dmcgroup - What can you say, apparently this design was born out of inspiration from Curta Calculators. More disturbingly is the fact that they cost a whopping $220,000.  Allegedly they only made 135, can’t think why. Ugly Rating 11/10

5. Tokyoflash Twelve 5-9 - Again completely pointless as you cannot tell what the time is easily. Ugly Rating 10/10

5. Urwerk UR-202 Turbine Regulated Watch - What can you say about this, looks like something from a Star Wars tribute act. Ugly Rating 8/10

6. Unknown - Sadly we have very little information on this little gem except to say that it is dog-ugly, and once again, does not display the time. Ugly Rating 9/10

7. Another Unknown Entry - But worth of inclusion, in our opinion the ugliest watch on the planet. Ugly Rating 12/10

8. “Dollar Store Watch” - Even with the pound low against the dollar, this is still overpriced.  Looks more like the 80’s kiddie sweets Astrobelts? Ugly Rating 10/10

9. Alacria -A truly hideous time piece I am sure you will agree.  Ugly Rating 8/10

10. Ilya Yakovlev - Never heard of this designer, which is not a surprise given this piss poor effort at Watch (below). Ugly Rating 10/10
